• You can connect iPhone/iPod/iPad to this soundbar via Bluetooth. (I have done this with my iPad.). I have not tried to play songs from a USB drive.

• Not sure about connecting via USB but you should be able to connect either iPhone or iPod via Bluetooth and it works well.
