“Do I need to use the subwoofer with the sound bar for it to work? I would prefer not to have any cords visible and I plan to have Geek Squad mount the sound bar just under my Samsung TV.”

Hi! The subwoofer is wireless allowing it to be placed throughout the room near an outlet and still connect to the soundbar. You are able to leave the subwoofer disconnected from power if you would not like to utilize it, however for optimal sound this unit should be paired with the included subwoofer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The sub is Bluetooth, so you can plug it in wherever and the only wire will be the power cord. The sound bar works without the sub as far as I can tell but is lesser quality. If you want to go without a subwoofer I’d recommend a model that is sound bar only that’s likely cheaper.
