• When dispensing water for making a pot of coffee, the water is dispensed one quart only and shuts off. You can immediately continue dispensing water. Nice feature.

• I was looking to purchase this refrigerator. I would think this is a safety feature so you don't get an overflow, especially if a child were to get water. They have a tendency to pull the glass or cup away before water shuts off.
