“Can I place dishes directly on the oven bottom and/or oven divider? I watched the demo video and it showed placing a pizza directly on the oven divider. It also showed placing a turkey and a casserole directly on the oven bottom. Is this OK to do? If so, when is it best to use the oven racks vs. placing dishes directly on the oven surfaces?”

I don't know the answer, but I would strongly suggest that you call Samsung. Here's the Samsung phone number: 1-800-726-7864. The lady I spoke with answered my questions and was very patient. She also talked me through some of the website offerings. Hope you get your questions answered.

It's fine to place oven-safe cookware directly on top of the Flex Duo oven divider, but it's best to use the racks in the lower oven cavity due to the location of the heat source directly below the surface of the lower oven. Please also note that Samsung does not recommend using aluminum foil or other material to line the bottom of the oven since it can adhere to and damage the oven surface. - Ms. Samsung
