The FE710DRS features two cleaning options: Self Clean and Steam Clean. Self cleaning operates in the same way as many other ranges, using high temperatures to remove grease and residue from the walls and bottom of the oven. Steam cleaning uses moisture to loosen the grease and residue so it can easily be wiped clean. Self cleaning requires 3-5 hours or more to help clean foods that are difficult to remove because they may have been baked on over time; Steam cleaning is a great option for cleaning the oven right after food has spilled, since it uses far less energy and takes only 20 minutes to run the cycle.
