“Cleaning/removing hand stains. We am having a hard time removing handprints left on the both the stainless steel front and the sides of the doors. Mild detergent is not removing the handprints. Is there any other product to use, such as Stainless Steel Magic? Also what type of polish do you suggest we use to polish the appliance 1x or 2x a year per your owner's manual?”

There are a number of products available that are specifically designed to clean real stainless steel. Simply follow the instructions on the package. Another option is to apply a small amount of baby oil to the stainless finish using a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. This will not only clean the stainless steel, but can help prevent fingerprints from recurring. It's important to note that the control panel, which is not real stainless steel, should be cleaned with a clean, damp cloth since applying chemical cleaners could damage it. Specifically, cleaners containing methyl palmitate, methyl linolate, methyl icosanoate or Limonene should not be used to clean the area around the control panel and display. - Ms. Samsung
