You only need an HDMI cable to plug the TV into your cable box and get an HD picture on the TV.

Super easy, coaxial to cable box (the one that looked like a nut and bolt) cable box is either coaxial out or HDMI out (wierd looking rhombus shape about an inch wide) to the television set then power cables to the wall: presto, should be done

Yes, this television has a cable input. You would just use a coaxial cable to connect the cable box to the television.
