• I think the speakers on this tv are fine. The volume control and sound is great where ever I sit in the room.

• I have not had any complaints about the sound. I have not checked to see if there is the capability of adding speakers. I would assume that there is an outlet behind the TV to add a sound bar as most TVs do.
