• The wifi streaming refers to the TV's built-in apps for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. A BluRay player would require an HDMI cable.

• You do not need to buy anything unless you want to use that media (vhs, DVD, Blu-ray, Nexus player, Apple TV, cable, Chromecast, Amazon stick, etc.)

• The apps are all there so you can just buy a dedicated bluray player without the apps.

• Yes, this TV can stream with apps. It does have wifi. It does not have a built-in player.

• Both devices have the Smart TV platform, which hosts Apps, like Netflix and others. Each device would connect separately to the wireless connection in your house, so you could use the platform on the TV OR the Blu-Ray player to stream movies and view content. If both devices have the Apps platform, pick one (or both) and sign in with your Netflix and other accounts. Thanks for your support of Samsung products. --Mr. S
