If the dish Network reciever has an RF output that sends a signal to the television on channel 2, 3, or 4 then yes this tv will work that way. The signal is a very poor quality and won't look as good as it can if you were using HDMI but it will work and allow you to watch the programming from the dish network reciever

I can't answer positively and I'm not totally tech savvy. I have mine hooked up to a HD antenna via a coax cable. So I would think hooking to get he dual mode receiver would work.
