Standard def is ia different ratio compared to HD. The curly and sizing of the picture is due to the difference sometimes in HD vs non HD. Sometimes when a non HD channel is on an HD set up it will appear with banners on the sides and sometimes too and bottom to compensate. This is nothing wrong with the TV. It is output ratios for the different definitions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had this issue also but we have a cable box and had to use the remote that came with that to alter the picture. I am not tech minded so I called the cable company and they talked me through it. Hope this helps
