“I'm thinking of putting this on our dresser which is not very far from the bed. I understand this is a subjective question, but what is the quality of the speakers that come with the TV? If just watching in morning and late night, do I need a sound bar?”

My experience with this model has been excellent, from the standpoint of the clarity of the picture and sound. Would not expect that a sound bar would be necessary.
