The mute icon pulses...onscreen....offscreen...alternating. I have the Q60...same samsung software and One Remote. I just hold the volume down and it races down to zero in a blink. Same effect. Raising the volume you just push up and the volume races upward. You don't have to press the button 20 times each way. It really makes the mute feature redundant. I don't have any issues. Hope this helps.
