• The feature that you need to deselect in the settings is called "autorun smart hub". I made a small spelling mistake in the other reply.

• Yes there's a way to do that. Go to settings > general > smart features, then deselect "alsorun smart hub". That will stop the hub from showing up when you turn on the TV.
