Yes, the volume it’s not too loud. It’s pretty good for what it is, but it is a thin tv. I use it in the kitchen and I noticed the kids sometimes pumping it to 50%

Please try again later.While the sound quality is adequate for a small tv, the video quality is excellent ++ in my opinion and equals, if not surpasses, the quality of my Sony Bravia 4K HDTV. So in answer to your question, a sound bar would be a definite improvement. I would highly recommend that one purchase a Samsung sound bar which should work seamlessly with this tv.
