- Answer According to Samsung M8 web site. It is MICRO not Mini HDMI which make it much harder to connect a desktop PC. All video cards nowadays only with Display Port and HDMI. No USBC connection. Some of the cables are only unidirectional (One way/direction). Modern laptop should not have issues.

QuestionHow does it work with a MacBook connected with usb c - do you have to go to the Home Screen on the monitor display and choose the usb connection to wake up the laptop or can i just wake up the laptop with my Bluetooth keyboard or moving my mouse?

QuestionSo I am planning on going to school this upcoming fall, I would really like to have a big desktop or all in one monitor even though I have a tablet and laptop. Would this be a good desktop or computer that I could use to watch videos and take notes?

- Answer This will not be enough by itself. You can hook up your laptop to extend capabilities. This by itself is only good for watching videos like Netflix. It has Microsoft office but it is slow. Treat this like a monitor that doubles as a TV.

QuestionNot sure how to connect my desktop PC which as display port and HDMI. There is NO HDMI to USBC cable. There are plenty of. USBC to HDMI (Not Bidirectional) And not sure if any HDMI to Micro HDMI cable exists Any Micro HDMI to HDMI bidirectional?

Questiondoes anyone know if this monitor is compatible with a usb type c dock. i want to hook up better speakers to it because the built ins are just ok. i see that there are type c docks with an audio jack available but i dont know if the compatible with this.

QuestionI understand this monitor comes with a micro-HDMI port...and an included cable that goes from standard HDMI to micro-HDMI. I have an Apple Studio with standard HDMI output. Can I use the converter cable on the studio? And will it work with my studio?

QuestionDoes this monitor support PIP/PBP? I recently purchased the M7. I'm looking to run and display two or more laptops. I was led to believe the M7 supported PIP/PBP, but it doesn't look like it has this function.
