Not sure what the problem is with the other guy, but also using a 3080, I am able to use gsync. The part most people miss is turning on freesync in the OSD before trying to enable gsync in the Nvidia Control Panel. If you do not turn on freesync on the display itself, it will not show up in the NVCP. It will also only work via displayport.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not necessarily. Most freesync premium monitors do not say they are g-sync compatible. It really just needs testing. I have personally used this monitor with an rtx 3080 and g-sync (with the display port cable supplied by this monitor) was not available as an option.
