I'm so glad you asked, RAY1! This model does make a short beeping sound when the buttons are pressed, however, you can also turn this sound off if you wish. In fact, we've included instructions on page 23 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3lJ1AWP) for how to turn the sounds on or off. ^Jecca
