• A:Answer sounds to me like its broken, when ours was plugged in the service man set it all up and told us everything about it, it was cooling off with in a few hrs fridge went down to 37degrees and freezer 0 degrees, took about a full 24 hrs to make ice constanly, go to the store you bought it from and talk to customer service, seriously go in person don't call

They switched mine out completely because something was broken in the water filter area of my first one. The ice maker gets its water from the pipe; hence, will need to have a water supply line connected to the refrigerator. There isn't a tank in the refrigerator that can be filled for the ice maker to use.
