These induction cooktops are generally a good choice for an electric solution in a net zero home. I would contact the manufacturer for a kwh rating for this model. Of course, it will also depend on how you use it - how many burners at what setting and for how long - few people use these at or near their capacity all that often or for a long period. You’d likely find an electric oven or clothes dryer creates a much higher demand.
