A:Answer Thank you for the question. It is normal for the water to be difficult to see given the low water use of front load washers as well as the fact that Samsung's drum tilts toward the back. Because of this, there is likely more water in your washer than you realize. Samsung's washing machines have an automatic weight sensor which adjusts the amount of water used per cycle, and there is no manual adjustment for this.
To ensure your WF405 is using the right amount of water, check the inlet hose screens on the back of the washer for blockage, and make sure the hoses are not bent or kinked, the water valves are turned on all the way, and your home's water pressure is at the recommended 20-116 psi. If the pressure or water level are not sufficient, your washer is designed to display an "nF" or no fill error code on the display to alert you to check the above factors.
If it does not appear your laundry is getting clean, try washing fewer items at a time or using less detergent. It's important to use only the recommended amount of HE detergent since oversudsing can result in errors and can also cause the clothes to look dingy. Selecting Heavy Soil level, or trying different cycles, such as Steam or Sanitize, depending on the fabric care instructions, may also help get the clothes cleaner.
Thank you,
Ms. Samsung
