• Thanks so much for asking, bigR! You can definitely add/remove items after the wash cycle has begun. To do this, you'll need to press the "Start/Pause" button to pause the cycle and unlock the lid. However, it is also important to note that if you are using liquid detergent it will need to be placed in the detergent tray instead of directly on the clothes. ^Jecca

• I believe you can I have never tried it but I have thought about. But I think if you start to fill then pause add soap it should work
