A:AnswerDrain hose is included. The hot/cold water supply lines aren’t included and have to be purchased separately. They are a standard size designed for washers. Go with stainless steel they will last longer than the plain rubber ones. They only are offered add-on I’m guessing for installation service.
A:AnswerGreat question, bigR! Yes, you can open the lid to add/remove clothes once the cycle has started. However, you will have to wait until the icon that looks like a shirt with a + sign is lit up. This indicates that it is safe to open the lid. You will then need to pause the cycle by pressing the Start/Pause button. Once you are finished and have closed the lid, you will need to press start again to resume the cycle. ^Jecca
A:AnswerAll detergent go in the well of the washing machine. The fabric softener goes in the agitator. Pods. Liquid. Powder ... All in the well ... Clothes. Detergent. Softener. Bleach if needed. Then close the washing machine. Choose your options and go.
A:AnswerI'm happy to say it can, Barlie! The washer is not designed to automatically drain or start again after it has been manually paused. To restart the cycle, you will have to press start or start a new cycle. ^Jecca
A:AnswerI have great news for you, Bunny! Yes, you can wash all those items in this washer. However, it is very important to only use the "Bedding/Waterproof" cycle when washing these items to prevent possible damage. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThank you. Sorry to hear I can only use the built in agitator softener dispenser with deep wash.
I now plan to use my old downy fabric softener plastic dispenser ball during the normal or quick wash cycles instead. You answered that it was ok to do that in my new Samsung washer, since I do not want to always use deep wash and hopefully try to save water.
Thank you.
A:AnswerHi Marilyn,
Thank you for reaching out and we hope you are in good health. We are glad to know that you have selected and purchased a Samsung washer. We hope that the appliance is working up to your standard.
Yes, you can use a fabric softener dispenser ball during normal or quick wash. I have shared the user manual link below. Please click or get to the link and turn to page 56 for the cycle chart.
The cycle chart will allow you to plan your washes as you would know which setting to use.

A:AnswerThanks for asking, Dee1! The ActiveWave Agitator is Samsung's newest update to the old style washers that had an agitator. This new technology is designed to reduce noise, vibration, and tangling while still delivering powerful cleaning. ^Jecca
A:AnswerDelivery was 2 1/2 weeks because we opted for a later delivery because we were going out of town for 7 or 8 Days. There was a charge to deliver and haul away - this was because we live about 55 to 60 miles from the Best Buy store.
