“I want a washer that fills with lid open to add my detergent. i am interested in this machine. I have never had a Samsung, always bought Maytag and Whirlpool. Is this machine quiet and doesn't vibrate. Thanks”

It is kind of noisy

While this model is designed to be as quiet and stable as possible, it is also designed not to start until the lid has been shut. This is for safety reasons, as well as to help protect against water leaks. However, you can pause the washer once it has finished filling with water to add or remove items. ^Jecca
