Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dryer is fairly quiet, although ours has a slight hum in addition to the regular motor sound as it dries. Ours does not vibrate at all. I believe the key to eliminating vibration (for both washing machines and dryers) is to make sure they are not overloaded as well as the installers need to level the machine carefully when it is put in (if stacked, make sure the washing machine is leveled first before the dryer is stacked on top, and then level the dryer as well). Installers are often not trained properly and/or are in a hurry. I had to correct our installers who put the level side to side and declared it was level. I had to show him the level also has to be put front to back.
