QuestionWhat is the amperage of this dryer. DV22K6800EW

- Answer My real-time energy usage increases 2700-3000W when I turn on the dryer. This lines up with the 2200W "Heating Element" as specified in the users manual. My outlet is 240V, so that means that the dryer is drawing 11.25-12.5A. (If my outlet was 120V, then the dryer would be drawing 22.5-25.0A)

QuestionI purchased this, told the dryer door hinged right side so open to right side, but came in left side hinged door. The tech came, tried reversed the door but unable to do it. Where can I find the one with the door opens to right?

- Answer The washer hinges only on the right side but the dryer can be hinged on either the right or left side. My dryer is hinged on the right. I hope this helps

- Answer When you purchase the dryer, they ask if you need the 3 or 4 prong plug. If you choose to have it installed, they bring both kinds. I hope that answers your question!

- Answer The exhaust vent is in the center rear of the unit. You have the option to move it to the right side of the unit as well if you have a layout where you dont want a rear exhaust.
