“Why aren't my clothes getting cleaned? Only had this washer for one week, and did 10 loads so far. Followed all instructions, including calibration, using only liquid HE detergents, sorting clothes properly etc. Heavily soiled, greasy, smelly clothes are not getting clean. They come out almost as dirty as when they went in, and dark clothes have white-grey residue streaks. I feel there is simply not enough water to get between the clothes and pull away the dirt, grease, sweat etc. I've even tried using the Heavy Duty cycle, selecting the heavy soil option and making sure warm water is being used, but this only means a longer wash cycle, but the clothes are still not clean. The gentle "swishing" does nothing, and the damp clothes are just heaped in a compressed pile at the bottom of the machine and don't circulate because they're not suspended in enough water. The machine may be considered High Efficiency because it uses less water, but is certainly not efficient at getting anything CLEAN. If we have to run a 2nd wash or rinse cycle, pre-treat each stain by hand, etc., then this ends up using more water and electricity in the end, not less. I did not buy this machine so that I could visually inspect each piece of clothing, pre-treat each stain and problem area, and wait 1.5 hours for each load to finish, only to find the greasy dirt still caked onto the clothes. There's nothing wrong with our water temp's or pressure either, since our clothes were perfectly clean in our old center-agitator-type machine for years without issue.”
