Thanks for the question. It's normal to have some water remain in the debris filter/auxiliary drain hose area after the wash is complete. When you remove the filter or open the hose, it's a good idea to keep a bowl or container under it to catch any water that spills out. (See page 29 of the User Manual for additional information.) - Ms. Samsung
