Yes. We stacked out Duet dryer on top of this Samsung dryer. The washer is larger but that is not a problem. You will have to buy the Samsung stacking kit as the Duet kit will not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same situation - GE stackable w/d set and the washer went but the dryer is fine. after shopping for a new stackable set without luck primarily b/c of space limitations, I opted to replace the washer only and detach the dryer from the old set and keep using it. I had to do some custom work to stack/attach the old dryer to the new washer. You need to keep the brackets and hardware that attached your old stacking w/d and figure out how to use them to attach your old dryer to the new washer without damaging either. Yours will be unique to your old dryer, but it can be done. You have to have be mechanically inclined and likely will need to be creative (think MacGyver). Good luck.

Samsung's SK-5A Stacking Kit accessory which is needed to safely stack a dryer on top of the washer is designed to fit Samsung models. I can't tell you whether it would work with another brand though this wouldn't be recommended. - Ms. Samsung
