I understand your concern, and regarding this, as the washing machine has the Self Clean+, this self-cleaning cycle helps remove mold inside the washing machine, which means you won't have any problem. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You must dry out the door and belt - leave the door of the washer open for about 24 hours after you are done washing for the day. Otherwise you will get a moldy smell from any front loading machine.

Please try again later.Hi Mrs D, The WF42H5000AW is no more susceptible to mold and mildew than other washers and actually includes Samsung's Self Clean feature which, when used as recommended, helps to prevent mold and mildew from developing.
