While I have not run a comforter through this machine, I do wash my King sized fitted sheet, top sheet, four pillow cases and two King sized fleece blankets all at once with still a third of the top unfilled. I have to dry this load in two partial loads because I still have an old dryer that takes forever with the aforementioned load.
