Thanks for the question. While many items that are dry cleanable can also be washed safely and effectively using steam cycles, Samsung does not recommend steam washing items that are marked Dry Clean Only. Please refer to fabric care symbols to help determine which items are, and are not, safe for steam cleaning. For example, items that have the "High", "Medium" or "Low" iron symbol on the label should be fine with steam; items that indicate "No Heat/Air", "No Steam Iron" or "Do Not Iron" probably should not be washed in the steam cycles. If you're still unsure, I would suggest checking with your dry cleaner or other fabric specialist. - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on what your sweater is made of. If it is wool, then don't wash it in a machine. Some cotton sweaters can be washed in a machine but you need to lay it out flat to dry and block it. There should be a washing instructions label in your garment with recommended care. I'd follow it closely if you want to protect your investment.
