QuestionHow long does it take to self clean the washer?

- Answer The self-clean cycle runs for a little over 4 hours. Seems like a long time but I usually run it overnight, it's so quiet you can't even hear it anyway. Plus it does not require any extra chemicals to buy.

QuestionHow much detergent do you use for a normal size load?I have heard that front loaders use as little as 1 tablespoon of detergent. Is this correct?

- Answer All I could find is a recommendation that says follow the guidelines on the detergent as long as the detergent is he. We try to stay below the line that says normal in the dispenser.

QuestionRinse tempI can't find info on the rinse temp anywhere. Does it rinse items in the same temp as the wash? For example warm/warm, cold/cold, hot/hot. Or is it always a cold rinse like hot/cold, warm/cold, cold/cold?

- Answer Like most front load washers, the door on the WF45H6300AW opens from right to left and cannot be reversed to open from left to right because of the location of the door lock. The dryer doors, however, are reversible, so it can open in the opposite direction to the washer when set up side by side, or in the same direction if the units are stacked. - Answer I had the mold on the rubber gasket problem with my first front loading washer - Kenmore 4tHe. I learned from that and now always wipe down the door and rubber gasket of this Samsung washer after every wash. I also keep the door ajar for at least a day after using it. I've had it for 7 months now and still no mold.

- Answer The WF45H6300AW does come with a power cord factory-installed. This and other Samsung Washers are rated for a 120V/60 Hz/15-amp connection, and can plug into a standard, dedicated, 3-prong 110V outlet. Thanks for the question! Ms. Samsung

- Answer Yes, the WF45H6300AG does have the PowerFoam feature. PowerFoam infuses the detergent with air and water, dissolving it before it comes into contact with the clothes so it penetrates fabrics faster and more effectively, but also gently. Thanks for your interest! Ms. Samsung

- Answer Thanks for the question. While many items that are dry cleanable can also be washed safely and effectively using steam cycles, Samsung does not recommend steam washing items that are marked Dry Clean Only. Please refer to fabric care symbols to help determine which items are, and are not, safe for steam cleaning. For example, items that have the "High", "Medium" or "Low" iron symbol on the label should be fine with steam; items that indicate "No Heat/Air", "No Steam Iron" or "Do Not Iron" probably should not be washed in the steam cycles. If you're still unsure, I would suggest checking with your dry cleaner or other fabric specialist. - Ms. Samsung
