• The machine starts with an intermittent agitation, which allows it to determine the load size automatically. There is also a shorter cycle setting that you can choose for smaller/lighter loads

• You can select the type of clothing you will be washing and the machine adds the correct amount of water. I think it is amazing the way it works and how it can sense the heaviness of the load. It is energy efficent with just enough water to almost cover the clothes. The movement of the washer tub adjusts the clothes to even it out and get each piece washed. We watch it wash and it is amazing to see how this works. I love this machine,
