Yes on the electric, no in the voltage the washer is a normal 120v. Washers typically use the lower voltage where dryers work 220-240.

Gina it is electric, but 110, not 220. Typically, Dryers are 220 and washers are 110. Hope that helps. :0) God bless, Jeffrey
