• Best Buy will not install a new unit onto an old pedestal from a prior machine. I ran into the same question. I was trying to save some money by purchasing the same brand as prior to not have to repurchase a pedestal. I guess I can understand, my units were 15 years old and how much life was left in the pedestal?
