A:AnswerNo it does not have an agitator. First time I’ve bought a washing machine without an agitator. It uses an impeller system where the clothing rubbing against itself does the cleaning. I was concerned that my clothing wouldn’t come out as clean without the agitator but I see absolutely no difference in the cleanliness. The agitator always seem to twist up my clothing, strings and such wrapped all around the agitator . This is big and open.

A:AnswerI'm assuming you mean 4.5CF and 5.0CF if you are it's a matter of size, 5.0 cubic feet of space in the unit is a larger capacity than a 4.5. Hope that answered it.
