• Great question, Mizley! According to page 27 of the user manual for this model (https://bit.ly/3mDnrzl) it is recommended to run a calibration cycle to ensure accurate weight detection. ^Jecca

• I had mine installed by the Best Buy team. I’m not sure if they calibrated the machine but it works perfectly well. I wish I had reached into the drum, though, before I purchased tgis. It’s very deep and I am short. It’s not easy getting all the clothes out.
