“5.1 Audio Passthrough I have a PS3 and DVR connected to the TV via HDMI. The TV is then connected to a stereo via optical out, and is set to use the external speakers. However, it will only output in 2 channel stereo (despite the other devices supporting 5.1, Dolby and DTS). When my PS3 detects the audio modes, it will only show 2 channel PCM modes. Is there a way to get the TV to accept 5.1 and then pass it through?”
