• Native contrast ratio is the contrast of the TV with out any of the contrast enhancing features active. Dynamic contrast is the contrast of the TV with all the contrast enhancing features active. The Samsung TVs only display the Dynamic Contrast numbers due to the fact that several of the contrast enhancing features are always active and can not be turned off.
