It works for Samsung Galaxy s 5. Don't know if it works for iphone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Chromecast app on my Galaxy S3, and I can connect to this tv just fine. I am not familiar with the iPhone though, but I am assuming that you can, but may require a certain app to do so. I have also only tried it with Netflix and Pandora, none of the other popular streaming/casting apps that are available. I am just making the assumption that you can, or at least you can for some/most apps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your phone supports the "Allshare" or "screen mirror" capability, you can project what is on your phone or tablet onto your screen. The TV also has a program to stream items from supported tablets, phones, etc through the menu prompt. I haven't used that, yet. I have used the screen mirror with my Galaxy S5. It works pretty well.
