You can use the remote that came with the TV if you have the Netflix app downloaded.

you would want to use the smart tv remote. once you are connected to the internet, it is there. be sure to run the software updates on the tv as well.

Netflix wouldn't be provided through the cable provider, but instead through the Smart Apps platform. It'd be easier to use the Samsung remote, but you can navigate through the TV's menu with the cable remote if you prefer. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
