I have Time Warner Cable and it was not a problem it looked sharper and clearer, almost alive. Most primetime shows and movie channels will look like you are there. This TV somehow upscales regular HD to 4k. Looks great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LT1203, Yes, provided the cable channels are broadcast in HDTV. Channels sending a SD picture will still be viewable, but the HD channels will provide the best picture quality. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Picture is really good, although without subscribing to HD channels, the picture size will not always fill the whole TV screen. Some channels have the sides cut off and others have top, bottom and sides cut off (i.e. The picture is smaller than the actual screen). There is an adjustment to make it fill the screen, but you have to adjust each channel as you go to it. Once I subscribed to HD service, the HD channels all fill the screen. Non-HD channels remain as described above. Still a very clear picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Picture should be decent, the TV will upscale the image and it does this pretty well
