• It actually on upscale a to whatever you are playing whether it be 480 720 1080 1080p or uhd

• Yes and no. The screen contains 8,294,400 pixels and they are all "on" all the time. If you're watching something that is a lower resolution, it will simply upscale it to fill the screen. FWIW, I have never noticed ANY issues with images being blurry or anything other than beautiful on this screen. I would recommend turning off the True Motion, though.

• There might be a setting to turn off up scaling but I doubt it, I've only seen that option on lg tvs

• Depends on your cable service, but you can always switch to a lower resolution on your TV settings
