“Is this TV compatible with Blu Ray”

• Yes and more, Blu-ray is HD, this TV and other 4K UHD TVs have an upscaling engine which raises the resolution of blu-ray to 4k. Good value for the price. I also tend to buy extended warranties especially if buying an open box unit, if the mainboard(power supply controller) goes it will cost more than the warranty, of course mainboards don't go often.
