• The built in generic (it looks a lot like Google Chrome) web browser as used with the smart remote (as a substitute "mouse") is not in my opinion very impressive. I suppose one could attach a real mouse and it would probably work much better. But I doubt it would change the fact that the appearance of websites is not as detailed as on a good PC. The best use for Internet connectivity seems to be for streaming commercial offerings. The best source of 4K today is probably Netflix or a similar service.

• While I have not done it, I did need to connect to my wifi so it can download an update so I'm assuming it can surf the web.
