Where are you getting those totally false "requirements" from? It only utilizes (not requires) a display which meets HDR standards. This TV does. In fact this TV is one of the best due to it's low input lag when gaming. If you're looking for a TV to meet the Dolby standard, you'll be spending considerably more money. Not to mention the Dolby standard is going to go the way of 3D TVs. Remember when that was all the rage? Where is it now....lol Dolby standard requires specialized hardware. You're going to pay dearly if you want it. There is no 40" model that meets it currently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 6300 series does not support HDR10. You will need to go up to the 8000 series to get HDR10, 10 bit panel screen. This is a 8 bit panel screen and will not get the extra color range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The KU6300 supports HDR10, but does not support Dolby Vision. It has a 8-bit panel, not a 10-bit panel. It doesn't have a wide color gamut compared to other HDR displays, so investing in a higher-tier model, whether that be a Samsung or other brand, is worth your money if you value Dolby Vision, 10-bit panels, wider color gamuts, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to IGN, this TV does meet the required standards of HDR10 but does not hold Dolby Vision. However, they state that if all you want this tv for is gaming and watching Blu Ray in HDR (at a budget) this tv is right for you. There are many other better options however very pricey and screen sizes range from 50" and up so this would be ideal for a bedroom.
