Sorry bravo222, I looked through the user manual, and nowhere does it say anything about the brightness of the TV. Some models of this TV do have an Eco Sensor that adjusts the brightness of the TV automatically, by measuring the light in your room and optimizing the brightness of the TV automatically to reduce power consumption. But the M4500 series doesn't have that function
