“OK. I have regular cable; I just want a plain TV that I can flip through channels and watch DVDs on my DVD player. I don't do Hula, etc. Is this that kind of a TV? I do have a sense of humor; but this is a serious question. No snarky answers please....”

YES this is that kind of TV!! We just use it laying in bed, flipping thru the channels.
