Will this TV fit on a mantel that is 5" deep? null

We wouldn't risk that unless you could attach it to the wall above the mantel. The t.v. is slim but 5" wouldn't be enough room if you're using the stand.

Yes it will. Ours is in a nook with a 4" base! Enjoy!
